Essential Experience

·Experienced Business Analyst

·Process Modelling

·Capability Maturity Modelling specifically CMMI

·Familiar with working in an agile environment

·Experience of gathering requirements in user story format

·Healthcare experience (either private or NHS).

·Mature and professional outlook.

·A thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Project/PowerPoint/Excel/Visio

·Good understanding of capability models

·Systems and data analysis skills


*Discovering and documenting the actual technical and operational needs of stakeholders and the associated systems they use.

*To write up workflows, business process maps (utilising BPMN) and function specifications on-behalf of the various teams, such that IT systems can be enhanced or developed to align with the business requirements.

*Engage with the business to translate business objectives into technical (functional and non-functional) requirements.

*Map all IT systems to business capabilities to inform the organisational capability model.

*Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis.

*Utilise your experience in using company-wide requirements definition and management systems and methodologies required.

*Strong analytical and stakeholder skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements that map across to IT systems

*Be an ambassador of the Architecture team, driving forward improvement initiatives within the team and assist in setting strategic direction with internal and external parties
