Business Development Manager – Semiconductor Failure Analysis

Location: UK or Europe (Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Holland, Sweden, Denmark)

Salary: Attractive / Negotiable

The Business Development Manager will be a key player to the success in sales and marketing of Failure Analysis products, while developing excellent long-term relationship with customers and increasing the cooperation with partners and key clients in projects related to semiconductor failure analysis on a European level.

Experience Required

  • Business Development Manager for Semiconductor Failure Analysis Products
  • Knowledge of failure analysis processes in the semiconductor or related industries.
  • Attention to detail, a focus on innovation, and the pursuit of continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to forge positive relationships with customers.
  • Ability to travel both domestically and internationally

Responsibilities:

  • Sales and marketing of Failure Analysis products
  • Primary owner of all sales projects
  • Application and technical support
  • Developing and maintaining application and technology knowledge (domain knowledge) in the field of FA
  • Defining, implementing and maintaining a sales and marketing strategy
  • Collaborating with local sales on ongoing sales projects
  • Regular contacts and F2F meetings with key customers and local sales
  • Identifies upcoming new customer requirements
  • Responsible for the sales planning (forecast)
  • Taking care for consistent communication to the European customers, including consistent pricing, technical offers, communication about roadmap etc.
  • Regular reporting of results, forecast and plans to ThinkTank
  • Consolidates and reports business situation from own data as well as data provided from all subsidiaries, trends, activities and targets (e.g. A-Plan Update, Accessible Market, business opportunities, competitor analysis…)
  • Works on each business opportunity from A to Z and develops business in the most profitable way for the local subsidiary
  • Interacts with stakeholders, attends local and international exhibitions and conferences, and supports local sales teams
  • Ensures that sales and promotion tools are developed, supporting short- and mid-term business development
  • Communicates findings on a regular basis with local Sales Managers regarding business situation and needs
  • Is up to date about current Service & Support actions and maintains a strong communication with local and global Sales as well as Service & Support teams
